Our Community

There are several common areas where residents spend time together. They can relax in our bright, cheerful game room to watch TV, play a game of pool, browse the internet or get some exercise on our treadmill. Our lobby offers a piano and a radio where residents can chat and listen to music together. 

We have two outdoor patios and lawn chairs where residents can enjoy the fresh air of our quiet neighborhood.  

We like being festive here at Gladhaven and we never turn down a reason to celebrate. We throw parties for all of the major holidays; 4th of July barbecues, Christmas dinner parties with live music, St. Patricks day feasts and everything in between. 

Residents can be brought to nearby Adult Activity Centers which offer cultural outings to New York City, the Westport Playhouse, day trips to Atlantic City and numerous other activities.

Located on the New York-Connecticut border, Gladhaven is just 45 minutes from Manhattan by train. Local parks and beaches are a just a short drive away including Lyon Park, Bruce Park and Tod's Point.

Places of worship of various denominations are located nearby and are easily accessible.
